Senior Structural Steel Detailer

We are seeking an experienced structural steel detailer to join our growing team. We currently are experiencing rapid growth with a solid work pipeline

The successful person will have:

·         Minimum 5+ years’ experience in structural steel detailing with strong 3D modelling skills

·         Experience in operating Tekla steel detailing software (this is a requirement)

·         Good understanding of architectural and structural engineering drawings

·         Sound knowledge of structural steel fabrication and installation

·         Capacity to prioritise and work to deadlines

·         Strong attention to detail

·         Ability to work to deadlines and on multiple projects

·         Ability to work as part of a team & independently as required

The job would be located in our office in Palmerston North.

A competitive salary package will be negotiated with successful applicant to suit experience.

Junior Structural Steel Detailer 

We are currently looking for a Junior/Trainee Steel Detailer to join our growing team. We currently are experiencing rapid growth with a solid work pipeline

You’ll need to be motivated, ambitious, intelligent and willing to learn, and ready to start an exciting career in the construction industry. All training will be provided in-house as you go.

Our ideal candidate will have the following:

·         Computer savvy

·         CAD experience beneficial but not essential

·         Hard working, reliable and willing to learn

·         The ability to work well in a team

·         Interest in growing a career as a steel detailer

·         A high level of problem solving capabilities

The job would be located in our office in Palmerston North.
